Job Summary:
Advanced Health Institute is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our administrative team. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining patient records, healthcare data, and administrative information into our databases and electronic health systems. This role plays a vital part in supporting smooth operations and ensuring data integrity within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter, update, and maintain patient information, medical records, and administrative data in electronic systems.
• Verify accuracy of data before inputting and correct any errors as needed.
• Organize and manage confidential information in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Retrieve and review records when requested by healthcare providers or administrative staff.
• Perform regular audits to ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Assist with generating reports and compiling information for internal use.
• Support the administrative team with filing, scanning, and other clerical tasks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with staff to resolve data discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certificate in office administration or healthcare administration preferred.
• Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a clerical/administrative role.
• Strong typing and computer skills (MS Office Suite, databases, and EMR/EHR systems preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
