American Waterworks, a leading provider of water treatment solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to management and team members, including scheduling meetings, answering phone calls, and responding to emails
- Manage and maintain accurate records, including employee data, meeting minutes, and company documents
- Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other materials as needed
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events, ensuring seamless logistics
- Serve as a point of contact for customers, vendors, and employees, providing exceptional customer service
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities, ensuring a productive work environment
- Assist with special projects and tasks, as assigned by management
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a corporate or office setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with adaptability and flexibility
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Knowledge of water industry or related field
- Certification as an Administrative Professional (CAP) or Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA)
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected hourly rate for this position is $18-$25 per hour, depending on experience, which translates to an annual salary range of $37,440 - $52,000 per year
