The Business Development Manager supports corporate client acquisition through B2B prospecting, qualification, and coordinated sales execution. The role requires strong communication, structured prospecting, and the ability to open conversations with decision-makers in finance, HR, and compliance functions.
1. B2B Prospecting & Appointment Setting
- Identify MSMEs, SMEs, and corporate clients.
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Book qualified B2B meetings for Sr BDM / VP Sales.
2. Sales Meetings & Follow-Up
- Attend discovery meetings with sales leadership.
- Document client pain points and requirements.
- Support proposal preparation and client follow-ups.
3. CRM & Documentation
- Maintain daily CRM entries with high accuracy.
- Prepare meeting reports, lead status updates, and follow-up logs.
4. Proposal & Solution Support
- Coordinate with SME/CA team for technical inputs.
- Assist in drafting proposals and revising versions as needed.
5. Coordination
- Work with CRO-Frontend for client updates.
- Support sales events, exhibitions, and campaigns.
Mandatory Skills & Competencies
- 1–4 years of experience in B2B sales.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage with Directors, HR Heads, Finance Managers.
- Understanding of B2B sales cycle and funnel stages.
- Strong research and lead qualification capability.
- High discipline, follow-up strength, and ownership mindset.
