Position Overview:
We are currently seeking two motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorneys with 1–3 or more years of litigation experience to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly admitted attorney or junior associate to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of civil litigation and insurance defense matters. Work Location: Hybrid remote in Manhattan Beach.

As an integral member of our litigation team, you will work directly with seasoned litigators and trial attorneys assisting in all facets of litigation—from pre-litigation analysis, discovery and deposition phase through trial preparation and courtroom practice.

Practice Areas Include:

• Insurance defense and insurance coverage
• Employment litigation
• Professional liability (insurance brokers, real estate brokers, architects, engineers)
• Construction defect
• Trucking and cargo claims
• Personal injury and premises liability
• Product liability
• Entertainment, event cancellation and media disputes
• Property management and landlord liability

Responsibilities:

• Legal research and drafting of pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Assisting with preparation and taking and defending depositions
• Assisting with preparation and attending mediations
• Court appearances, including law and motion hearings
• Case analysis, strategy and development
• Trial preparation and support

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar (or pending admission)
• Excellent legal writing, research, and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• A strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow as a litigator
• Some experience in handling insurance defense matters preferred
