Decker Mechanical is seeking a dedicated MEP Systems Coordinator to join our team in Cedar Hill. This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level professionals to gain hands-on experience in the commercial construction industry.
As an MEP Systems Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across various projects. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain quality and efficiency in all aspects of MEP systems. Your contributions will be key to driving our projects forward and delivering exceptional results to our clients.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of MEP systems for commercial construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure project timelines are met
- Review and interpret MEP plans and specifications
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with MEP installation standards
- Prepare and maintain MEP documentation and reports
- Support the resolution of technical issues related to MEP systems
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on MEP progress
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment on-site
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or certifications in construction or engineering is a plus
- Strong interest in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Prior internship or experience in construction is a plus but not required
