Job Title: Proposal Manager

Location: Pune

Industry: Water & Wastewater Treatment (STP, ETP, RO, WTP)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Proposal Manager to lead the end-to-end proposal development process. The candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive, high-quality technical and commercial proposals for water and wastewater treatment projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete proposal lifecycle from enquiry to submission
• Review tender documents, RFQs, and client requirements
• Coordinate with engineering, sales, procurement, and finance teams
• Prepare technical proposals including process descriptions, P&IDs, and system configurations
• Develop commercial proposals including costing, pricing, and BOQs
• Ensure compliance with tender specifications and submission guidelines
• Maintain proposal templates, documentation, and database
• Track proposal deadlines and ensure timely submissions
• Support sales team in client presentations and clarifications
• Analyze competitor offerings and improve proposal strategies

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Strong understanding of STP, ETP, RO, WTP systems
• Experience in proposal/tender management (2–6 years preferred)
• Good knowledge of costing, BOQ preparation, and pricing strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines
• Strong coordination and project management skills

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering
• MBA (Marketing/Operations) is an added advantage

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in water treatment companies or EPC projects
• Familiarity with government tenders and private sector proposals
