Role: Attorney, Labor Management

Our Labor and Employment Department is looking for an experienced associate (Class of 2020–2022) with 4 to 6 years of focused experience in traditional labor law within the private sector.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and a background in representing management interests.
Professional Experience & Areas of Focus:
NLRB Advocacy:
Managing administrative and enforcement actions, including handling unfair labor practice (ULP) charges and representation petitions.
Labor Relations & Arbitration:
Providing counsel during labor arbitrations and researching/briefing complex legal issues under the NLRA.
Union Engagement:
Guiding clients through unionization attempts, managing election processes, and advising on union campaigns.
Contract Negotiation:
Leading the drafting and negotiation of collective bargaining agreements and providing ongoing guidance on contract interpretation and administration.
Transactional Support:
Analyzing and advising on labor-related risks and implications during corporate mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
Candidate Requirements:
Legal Background:
Substantial experience at a law firm representing management.
Licensure:
Must be an active member in good standing of the New York or California state bar.
Top AMLAW 50 preferred
Excellent credentials, GPA above 4.0
Must have management side large law firm experience
