Role: Physical Therapist, Outpatient (PT)
Location: Sierra Vista, AZ
Position: Full Time + Benefits

Must Have:

-Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
-Current Physical Therapy license in state of practice.
-Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities:

🧍‍♂️ 1. Patient Evaluation & Assessment

  • Conduct initial evaluations of patients with injuries or movement disorders
  • Assess strength, flexibility, posture, gait, and range of motion
  • Review medical history and physician referrals
  • Set measurable treatment goals

🏃‍♀️ 2. Treatment Planning & Therapy

  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide hands-on manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue work)
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and stretching programs
  • Use modalities like ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold therapy

🧠 3. Patient Education

  • Teach proper posture, ergonomics, and body mechanics
  • Instruct patients on home exercise programs (HEP)
  • Educate on injury prevention and recovery techniques

📊 4. Progress Monitoring & Documentation

  • Track patient progress and outcomes
  • Modify treatment plans based on improvement or setbacks
  • Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems

🏥 5. Specialization-Based Care

  • Treat conditions like sports injuries, back/neck pain, arthritis, and post-operative rehab
  • Provide rehabilitation for orthopedic and neurological conditions
  • Support return-to-work or return-to-sport programs

🤝 6. Collaboration & Communication

  • Communicate with referring physicians and healthcare providers
  • Coordinate care plans and progress updates
  • Work with clinic staff for scheduling and patient flow

💼 7. Clinic Operations & Patient Management

  • Manage daily patient caseload efficiently
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of therapy equipment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment

⚠️ 8. Compliance & Safety

  • Follow clinic policies and healthcare regulations
  • Ensure patient safety during exercises and treatments
  • Maintain infection control standards
