Role: Registered Nurse, Emergency Room (RN-ER)
Location: Las Cruces, NM
Position: Full Time + Benefits
Requirements:
-NM RN License.
-Associate's degree in Nursing.
-BLS certification is required.
-ACLS, PALS and TNCC are required within six months of hire.Β
Nice to Have:
+1 year of ER experience.
Responsibilities:
π 1. Triage & Patient Assessment
- Perform rapid assessment of patients upon arrival
- Prioritize care based on severity (triage system)
- Collect medical history and evaluate symptoms quickly
- Identify life-threatening conditions immediately
π₯ 2. Emergency Care & Treatment
- Provide urgent care for trauma, cardiac events, strokes, and other emergencies
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products
- Perform wound care, splinting, and basic life support
- Assist with emergency procedures (intubation, CPR, defibrillation)
β‘ 3. Monitoring & Critical Response
- Continuously monitor vital signs and patient status
- Recognize and respond to sudden changes in condition
- Operate emergency equipment like cardiac monitors and ventilators
π©ββοΈ 4. Collaboration with Healthcare Team
- Work closely with physicians, paramedics, and specialists
- Communicate critical patient information clearly and quickly
- Assist during diagnostic tests and procedures
π 5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Document treatments, medications, and patient responses
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance

- Provide clear instructions on treatment and discharge care
- Support patients and families during stressful situations
- Educate on follow-up care and medications

- Handle high-pressure, unpredictable situations
- Manage multiple patients simultaneously
- Stay calm and make quick, critical decisions

- Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
