Houston Aphasia Recovery Center is seeking an Office Manager to join our dedicated team in Bakersfield. This full-time, remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of supporting individuals with aphasia and enhancing their recovery journey.

As an Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions. You will be responsible for coordinating office activities, managing schedules, and providing essential support to our team. Your contributions will help us maintain a welcoming environment that fosters recovery and well-being for our clients.

We offer a competitive salary range of $57,500 - $68,900 annually, along with a supportive work culture and opportunities for professional development in the health and fitness industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations and ensure efficiency
  • Coordinate schedules and appointments for team members
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations
  • Handle communications and correspondence with clients and stakeholders
  • Maintain office supplies and inventory
  • Support staff with administrative tasks and projects
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Facilitate team meetings and take minutes as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in an administrative role is a plus but not required
  • Passion for helping others and interest in the health/fitness industry
