Job Overview

IIQAF Group is seeking a passionate and motivated Commis Chef in Abu Dhabi to support our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, basic cooking techniques, kitchen assistance, food safety, and hospitality kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, chopping, cutting, and cooking under supervision
• Follow recipes and maintain consistency in food quality
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
• Ensure compliance with UAE food safety and HACCP standards
• Store food items properly and monitor stock levels
• Assist with plating and food presentation
• Follow instructions from Chef de Partie and Head Chef
• Ensure timely preparation during service hours

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Hospitality preferred
• Previous experience as Commis Chef, Kitchen Assistant, or Trainee Chef
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong teamwork and willingness to learn
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends
• Immediate availability preferred
