Salary:$100,000 - $135,000/year

 

Job description:

  • Our Depository team has an exceptionally strong track record of successfully serving the M&A and capital markets needs of regional banks and thrifts, commercial finance companies, mortgage lenders, and other depository institutions.
  • Our senior bankers work as a team to provide expert market intelligence, advisory and execution services while aligning with clients as teammates and not competitors.
  • We truly understand the depository space, and are highly active with a wide range of private and public companies that come to us for everything from IPOs and private placements to mergers and acquisitions.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Play a key role in the transaction execution process
  • Develop and oversee the development of detailed financial analyses and the preparation of models for various types of transactions
  • Perform extensive valuation and pricing analyses
  • Create Confidential Information Memorandums, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentations
  • Help plan and execute live engagements
  • Coordinate and perform business due diligence
  • Perform industry research and comparable company analysis
  • Train and develop analysts
  • Build relationships and maintain direct contact with current and prospective clients
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management

 

Experience you will need:

  • 1-4 years of Investment Banking Experience or an MBA + at least 1 year of Investment Banking Experience
  • At least some experience executing M&A and/or capital market transactions in the FIG space
  • Excellent analytical and modeling skills
  • High energy with strong interpersonal, accounting, and finance skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong commitment to respecting and safeguarding confidential information
  • Adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Ability to learn quickly, with a particular focus on accounting rules and financial valuation methodologies
  • Strong client management skills
