Designer Mens Knits and Sweaters

Responsible for creating original concepts that encompass style, color and fabric as a result of interpreting fashion trends. Produces sketches and may make seasonal presentations of proposed designs. Analyzes fashion trends. Partners with sourcing and materials development. May provide basic fit and body block information and attend fit sessions. Typically reports to Design Director. Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience. Related design experience.

Identify new seasonal trends, silhouettes, fabrics, and techniques
Responsible for seasonal Fabric orders to the color level
Black and White Sketching
Color-up all sketches
Attend cross functional meetings with Men's Merchandising, Production, Technical design
Create Client's Paks/Tech paks, partnering with Production and Tech Design, and help communicate vision behind fit and design, ensuring execution, quality, and desired margin targets are achieved.
