NextGen Hospitality Solutions is looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our vibrant team at our fast-casual restaurant group in Cleveland. Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in day-to-day operations and management of the restaurant
- Lead, motivate, and train staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor and manage inventory and ordering processes
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals and expectations
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to boost sales
- Analyze financial reports and assist in budget management
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or in a similar role within the restaurant industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations and financial management
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality management are a plus
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
