This full-time, on-site position is perfect for a culinary leader who is passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences and managing high-performing kitchen teams.
As the Executive Chef / Executive Kitchen Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the kitchen operations, from menu development to food presentation, ensuring our guests receive the highest quality of service and cuisine. You will lead a talented culinary team, implement innovative cooking techniques, and maintain our commitment to excellence in the fast-paced restaurant industry. We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 annually, reflecting the importance of this role in our organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design seasonal menus that reflect the brand's vision and guest preferences
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and consistency
- Manage kitchen staff, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations
- Maintain inventory control and manage food costs effectively
- Collaborate with management on kitchen budget and financial goals
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Engage with guests to receive feedback and enhance their dining experience
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to innovate the menu
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role in a restaurant setting
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on upscale casual dining
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and passion for food and hospitality
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
