NextGen Hospitality Solutions is on the lookout for an Executive Kitchen Manager / Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at our Lawrenceville location. This full-time, on-site position is a unique opportunity to shape the dining experience in our innovative restaurant, known for its commitment to quality and creativity.
As the Executive Kitchen Manager / Executive Chef, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing kitchen operations, menu development, and ensuring that our high standards of food quality and presentation are met consistently. You will collaborate with both the front-of-house staff and management to deliver an exceptional dining experience that reflects our brand's values and vision. We offer a competitive salary range of $64,000 - $74,000 annually, along with a supportive and dynamic work environment where you can showcase your culinary expertise.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Design and execute creative and seasonal menus that delight our guests
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Oversee inventory management and food purchasing
- Train, mentor, and develop kitchen personnel
- Collaborate with management to set budgetary and financial goals
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu offerings
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for food and creativity
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
