This position is targeted at a senior assurance professional with extensive expertise working with both public and private TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) clients, particularly those that are growth-oriented and backed by private equity or venture capital.

The ideal candidate will take charge of intricate audit engagements, foster relationships with senior clients, manage engagement profitability, evaluate complex technical accounting issues, and contribute to business development initiatives within the TMT sector. 

Additionally, this role involves mentoring teams, collaborating with specialized firm resources, cultivating strategic relationships with industry influencers, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients in rapidly evolving sectors such as software, SaaS, e-commerce, electronics, semiconductors, digital media, and telecommunications.

**Qualifications:**

- Canadian CPA designation

- 10+ years of experience in a public accounting environment

- 5+ years of auditing experience specifically within technology, media, or telecommunications sectors

- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and GAAS

- Proven track record in engagement leadership and client relationship management

- Skilled in business development strategies

- Experience in team leadership and coaching
