**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a Full-Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a dynamic Anesthesiology team.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care in an inpatient environment along with multiple outpatient clinics.
- Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations, including an assessment of medical histories, identification of patient-specific risk factors, and formulation of anesthesia plans.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to develop and implement tailored anesthesia care protocols.
- Administer anesthesia for various surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic interventions, prioritizing patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
- Continuously monitor and manage intraoperative patient parameters, including vital signs, anesthesia depth, and responsiveness to medical interventions.
- Oversee post-anesthesia care, focusing on pain management and immediate postoperative recovery.
- Participate in a rotating schedule that encompasses full-time day shifts, on-call duties, and weekend assignments.
- Travel to various locations as necessary to provide anesthesia services within the health system.
- Maintain precise and timely documentation in EPIC EMR, adhering to all hospital regulations and compliance standards.
- Assist in fulfilling staffing requirements during times of shortage, collaborating effectively with the anesthesiology department.
- Ensure compliance with hospital credentialing, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
- Engage in continuous professional development and maintain requisite certifications (BLS, ACLS, CRNA licensure, RN licensure).
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care.
**Experience Requirements:**
- No specific minimum experience cited, but new graduate candidates will not be considered.
**Qualifications:**
- Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credentials.
- Valid Michigan RN License (must be presented at the time of interview, with no exceptions).
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Clean malpractice and licensing history.
- State the number of years of CRNA-specific experience (excluding RN and training).
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and on-call duties.
- CSR/CDS certification (to be obtained prior to employment start date).
**Certification Requirements:** - Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBCRNA.
**State License Requirements:**
- Must possess a valid Michigan RN license.
**Additional Requirements:**
- A clean malpractice and licensing history is mandatory.
- Compliance with hospital credentialing standards is essential, with processing times typically ranging from 90 to 120 days.
