**Position Available: Full-Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)**
**Department:** Ambulatory Division
**Setting:** High-quality outpatient surgical environment
**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced CRNA to join our dynamic Ambulatory Division, specializing in providing comprehensive anesthesia care in a fast-paced outpatient surgical setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**

**Pre-Anesthesia Evaluations:** Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments to ensure patient readiness.
- **Anesthesia Care Plans:** Develop tailored anesthesia care plans to meet individual patient needs. -
**Administration of Anesthesia:** Administer a variety of anesthesia techniques, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care through intravenous and inhalation methods.
- **Specialties Served:** Provide anesthesia services across diverse surgical specialties, including but not limited to:
- Total joint replacements (hips and knees)
- Orthopedics and sports medicine
- Plastic surgery
- Urology
- Gynecology
- Ophthalmology
- Podiatry
- Dentistry
- Pediatrics
- Endoscopy
- General surgery
- **Patient Demographics:
** Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care for patients across all age groups and ASA classifications, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- **Airway Management:** Provide airway management services as clinically indicated.
- **Intraoperative Monitoring:** Monitor patients throughout procedures and adeptly manage any anesthesia-related complications that may arise.
- **Post-Anesthesia Care:** Ensure effective post-anesthesia care and pain management.
- **Documentation:** Maintain meticulous and compliant documentation within the EPIC EMR system.
- **Operational Flexibility:** Travel to additional ambulatory sites as operational demands necessitate. - **Collaboration:** Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary surgical team, engaging closely with anesthesiologists and over 40 CRNAs as well as 10 senior staff physicians.
**Qualifications:**
- **Certification and Licensure:**
- CRNA Certification (NBCRNA) - Active RN License in Michigan
- State Specialty Certification - Current certifications in BLS and ACLS -
**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year CRNA experience (excluding RN experience or training). -
**Education:** Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.
- **Professional History:** Clean malpractice and license record.
**Additional Information:** This position is not open to candidates with lapsed licensure or new graduates.
