The CT Technologist conducts advanced computed tomography examinations in alignment with the directives of referring physicians, employing state-of-the-art CT technology while considering the specific needs of patients based on age and other unique factors. 

This role requires an astute application of imaging principles, technical expertise, and clinical judgment to optimize image quality and ensure effective patient care.

**Required Qualifications:**

- Education that satisfies certification, licensure, or registration prerequisites.

- Upon hire: Acquisition of National Provider BLS credentials from the American Heart Association.

- Upon hire: Valid Oregon Medical Imaging License as issued by the Oregon State Board.

- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist in Radiography credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or

- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology.

- Within one year of hire: Achieve National Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography certification, or

- Within one year of hire: Obtain National Computed Tomography Technologist certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
