As a Locum AA or CRNA, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care, collaborating with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop anesthesia care plans
- Provide preoperative assessments and postoperative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and anesthesia standards
- Respond to emergencies and manage complications during anesthesia
- Educate patients and families about anesthesia processes and risks
Requirements
- Associate degree in Anesthesia or Nursing (for CRNAs)
- Valid state certification or licensure as an Anesthesiologist Assistant or Nurse Anesthetist
- Experience in anesthesia administration and patient care
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and anesthesia techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Current BLS and ACLS certification preferred
Level I Trauma
Schedule: 7a-5p, 4 days per week
No call or weekend shifts
Patient Volume: 15 per day
Case Types: Adult bread & butter
4:1 medical supervision
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
