**Position Overview:**
We are seeking 2 FTE CRNAs. The first CRNA will begin orientation on August 31, with the first shift scheduled for September 1.
The second CRNA's orientation is set for August 21, starting the first shift on August 24.
**Working Environment:**
- **Operating Room & Call:** - 15% inpatient and 85% outpatient cases. - Weekend call: one weekend per month. - Weekday call: 1-2 days per week.
**Schedule:** - Monday to Friday with 5 shifts of 8 hours.
- Room time is 0715, with anesthesia personnel expected to arrive between 0630 and 0645.
- CRNAs will collaborate with an MD Anesthesiologist and must demonstrate the ability to work independently during regular hours and when on call.
**Case Load:** - Predominantly outpatient cases including surgical and endoscopic procedures.
- OB procedures encompass labor epidurals and cesarean sections.
- Additional cases will cover orthopedics, endoscopy, general surgery, urology, and ENT.
- While experience with nerve blocks is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. However, proficiency in administering OB labor epidurals and spinal anesthesia for cesarean sections is essential.
**Technology Utilization:** - EMR system: EPIC.
**Required Qualifications:** - Experience in spinals, epidurals, venous catheters, and arterial catheters is mandatory.
- Current certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and NBCRNA.
- Recent case logs must reflect a minimum of 75 cases within the last 12 months.
- Candidates must possess a Michigan license or be in the process of obtaining one through IMLC.
