This contract position is an on-site opportunity that allows you to contribute to our mission of providing high-quality anesthesiology care in the medical practice industry.
As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver effective anesthetic care.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and consultations
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop anesthesia care plans
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery and provide follow-up care
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in anesthetic practice
- Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and risks
- Document anesthesia care accurately in patient records
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology techniques and practices
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing and a master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Experience in an acute care setting, preferably in anesthesiology
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of anesthesia equipment and technology
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
Schedule: 8 or 10-hour shifts, 2 weeks per month
No call requirement
Case Mix: General, orthopedics, and OB
15 anesthetizing locations
Medically directed, 3:1
Charting System: iPro
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
