As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia and providing exceptional care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You'll collaborate closely with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure the highest standards of safety and comfort for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations
- Provide post-anesthesia care and assess recovery
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in anesthesia
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia
- Current certification as a CRNA
- Strong clinical skills and experience in anesthesia administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of current medical practices and protocols in anesthesia
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and patient needs
Flexible Schedule: 10 and 12-hour shifts available Monday-Friday
No call or weekend shifts required
Trauma and OB experience required
Spinals (no blocks)
No OB, hearts, or liver transplants
Supervision: 1:2 or 1:3
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid licensing, travel, and expenses
