This on-site, contract position offers an exceptional opportunity to provide high-quality anesthesia care in a dynamic medical practice environment.
As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver expert anesthesia services, contributing to the overall success of our practice.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop anesthesia care plans
- Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in quality assurance and safety initiatives
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques and practices
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia or related field
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- 3-5 years of experience in anesthesia practice
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of relevant anesthesia equipment and technologies
- Ability to handle emergency situations with confidence
Schedule: 10 or 12-hour shifts available
No call shifts
Cases: General, OB, pediatrics, GI, endo, cath lab
Must be proficient with neuro (heads) and thoracic cases
Care Team Model: 1:3 or 1:4 supervision
EMR: Epic
