Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and prepare patients for anesthesia
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Manage post-anesthesia recovery and provide patient care
  • Stay updated on the latest anesthesia techniques and protocols
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Educate patients and their families regarding anesthesia processes
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards in anesthesia practice

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Nursing and CRNA certification
  • Previous experience in anesthesia practice is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and medications
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
  • Current nursing and anesthesia licensure in the state of practice

Schedule: 10 or 12-hour day shifts

Case Types: General Surgery, vascular, healthy peds, neonates/sick peds, OB, high risk OB, trauma, ortho, neuro (heads), neuro (spine), thoracic, urology, gynecological, ENT, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and plastics

EMR: Epic

3 years of experience preferred, specifically in a trauma center

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
