As a Locum CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients during procedures. Your role is pivotal in ensuring patient safety and comfort while collaborating closely with surgeons and medical staff. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia care under the supervision of anesthesiologists
- Monitor patients’ vital signs during procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and consultations
- Manage anesthesia equipment and medication
- Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patients’ recovery
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients regarding the anesthesia process
- Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Nursing with a focus on nurse anesthesia
- Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in anesthetic techniques
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a hospital or surgical setting is preferred
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety
Schedule: 5x 8-hour shifts 4x 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
No call or weekends
36k cases annually
16-19 ORs daily
Cases: General bread & butter, endo, ortho, GI, some head/back (no hearts, blocks, epidurals, or cardiac)
20 CRNAs, supervised by 1 MD
Working independently
EMR: MediTech
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
1 hour away from an international airport
