Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and procedural interventions
- Monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop anesthesia care plans
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and patient evaluations
- Manage postoperative pain and complications related to anesthesia
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards of care
- Educate patients about anesthesia procedures and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing, with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia
- Current certification as a CRNA
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
Schedule: 6:30a-3:30p
Setting: Outpatient
Daily Volume: ~10 patients
Cases: Upper and lower GI
Must be board-certified
