As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to develop anesthesia care plans
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and review medical history
- Teach patients about the anesthesia process and answer their questions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in anesthesia care
- Document anesthesia care and patient responses accurately
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing with CRNA certification
- A current and valid state nursing license
- Experience in providing anesthesia care in a clinical setting
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to best practices
Schedule: 8-hour shifts
Will cover multiple facilities
Cases: Orthopedics, spines, robotic surgery, ENT, GYN, ophthalmology, urology, plastics, and podiatry
No trauma, hearts, or neuro
Will not place blocks, epidurals, or spinals
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
