In this role, you will be instrumental in administering anesthesia for various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating closely with surgeons and medical staff. Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia for surgical and procedural cases
  • Monitor patients throughout the surgical process
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia plans
  • Evaluate patients preoperatively and manage their postoperative care
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Stay current with advances in anesthesiology practices
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia
  • Current CRNA certification and state licensure
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying clinical situations
  • Previous experience in a medical practice setting is a plus

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

10 ORs, 3 minor rooms, 2 delivery rooms

200-bed hospital

Cases: Orthopedics, spines, robotic surgery, ENT, GYN, ophthalmology, urology, plastics, and podiatry

No trauma, hearts, or neuro

Will not place blocks, epidurals, or spinals

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
