As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients across a variety of surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing patient outcomes and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and postoperative evaluations
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room
- Educate patients and their families on anesthesia procedures
- Document patient care and procedures accurately
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia
- Current RN license and certification as a CRNA
- Previous experience in perioperative care is preferred
- Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and protocols
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Adept at working in fast-paced medical environments
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts
Schedule: 7:00a-5:30p, 8 or 10-hour shifts
No call required
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Case Types: General, vascular, ENT, orthopedics, urology, GYN, robotics, plastics, endoscopy, bariatrics, bronchoscopy, neuro spine (no heads)
Procedures Required: MAC and general anesthesia
Support Staff: Anesthesiologist and Anesthesia Technicians
Must be board-certified
BLS required
