 This contract position is on-site and offers an exceptional opportunity to provide high-quality anesthesia care within a dynamic medical practice environment.

As a Locum MD in Anesthesiology, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, monitoring patient vital signs, and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful outcomes of our surgical teams and the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and consultations
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care support
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures
• Participate in ongoing medical education and training

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Board certification in Anesthesiology
• Experience in administering anesthesia in a clinical setting
• Strong understanding of patient safety protocols and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning

In-House Weeknight Call: 7p-7a

In-House Weekend Call: 7a-7p or 7p-7a

Shifts available at multiple facilities

Case Types: Plastics, ortho, bariatric, chests, general, urology, occasional crannies, and some OB

Support Staff: CRNAs on backup

Must be board-certified
