Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessments and consultations for patients requiring breast surgery
- Perform surgical procedures related to breast health and oncology
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions
- Stay updated with advancements in breast surgery techniques and practices
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in General Surgery or relevant specialty
- Experience in breast surgery is preferred
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to patient care and safety
- Active medical license in the state of Texas
Schedule: 9-hour day shifts, 2-4 days per week
Shifts available at multiple facilities
Setting: Clinic and OR
Daily Volume: ~16 clinic patients or 3-5 surgeries
Duties: Breast reconstruction, combo cases with breast surgery, consults, and follow-ups
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
