This on-site, contract position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality medical care in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the well-being of patients with critical health conditions.
As a Locum MD, you will play a pivotal role in managing patients with severe neurological conditions and critical illnesses. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective treatment while aligning with best practices in the medical field. This role is essential in supporting our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services within the Medical Practice industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients in critical care and neurology
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Participate in medical rounds and clinical meetings
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in critical care and neurology
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Critical Care and/or Neurology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of New Jersey
- Experience in critical care settings preferred
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off
