As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering anesthesia services for various surgical procedures. Your expertise will ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process, contributing significantly to the overall success of our medical team. Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and evaluations
• Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to determine anesthesia plans
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during and after procedures
• Manage post-anesthesia recovery and evaluate patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in anesthesiology
• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff regarding anesthesia-related issues

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license in the state of practice
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Anesthesiology
• Experience in anesthesiology as a practicing physician
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care

Schedule: 40 hours per week, no weekends

Daily Volume: ~3 cases

Patient Population: All ages and degrees of disability, including trauma

Cases: Bread and butter OB/GYN, pediatric dental, ENT, and orthopedics

Duties: General anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and epidurals

No supervision required

Must be board-certified
