As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality anesthetic care to patients across various surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of our patients and the overall efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
- Evaluate patients' medical histories and develop appropriate anesthesia plans
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after anesthesia
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals
- Manage any complications or adverse reactions to anesthesia
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide guidance and education to nursing staff and trainees
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Tennessee
- Board certification in Anesthesiology
- Experience in an anesthesiology practice or clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts
No call requirement
Setting: Onsite
Daily Volume: 15-25 blocks per day
Case Types: Lumbar blocks, cervical blocks, radiofrequency ablations, sympathetic blocks, joint injections, spinal cord stimulator, transparametal, and other bread and butter cases
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
