As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to the overall health and well-being of our patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels accordingly
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and evaluate patients' medical histories
- Provide post-anesthesia care and address any complications
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient responses
- Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology and best practices
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards in the medical practice
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid state medical license to practice anesthesiology
- Experience in anesthesiology as an associate level practitioner
- Strong knowledge of anesthetic techniques and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

- Level III NICU
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Shift Information: 24-hour in-house call
- Annual Deliveries: ~3k
- Case Types: High-Risk OB
- Will place epidurals
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel and expenses
Cath/Cardiac Opportunity Details:
- Tramua Level II
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Shift Information: 7a-5p
- Cases Per Month: ~300
- Responsibilities: Perform cardiac testing
- Procedures Required: TAVR, Blasions
- TEE certification preferred
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel and expenses
GI Opportunity Details:
- Tramua Level II
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Shift Information: 7a-4p or 4p-7a
- Call shifts available
- Responsibilities: GI cases, cover IONs/Bronchs, and some Radiology MRIs
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel and expenses
Facility Two-
General Opportunity Details:
- Tramua Level II
- Schedule: 4-day workweek
- Shift Information: 7:30a-4p
- Mainly robotics on hernias and gall bladders
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
