 This contract position is an on-site role that offers an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our young patients while working within a collaborative healthcare environment.

In this role, you will provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering quality care and contributing to the overall success of our anesthesia department.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients undergoing surgery
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare professionals to develop anesthesia care plans
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding anesthesia
• Stay updated on advancements in pediatric anesthesia techniques
• Document patient care and anesthesia procedures accurately

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Board certification in Anesthesiology
• Experience in pediatric anesthesiology is preferred
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Patient Population: Pediatrics

Must be board-certified
