As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of children and support our mission to provide high-quality medical services.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in their condition
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments to evaluate patients' medical histories
- Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia processes
- Participate in continuous medical education and training programs
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Board certification in Anesthesiology
- Experience in pediatric anesthesiology preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Current medical license to practice in the state
Flexible Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 or 10-hour shifts
No call requirement
