As a Locum Cardiology physician, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions, collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of enhancing patient outcomes and fostering a supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and consultations
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiac conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Conduct patient follow-ups and monitor progress
• Educate patients and families on heart health and disease prevention
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Cardiology or eligibility for certification
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of California
• Strong clinical knowledge in cardiovascular medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care
• Flexibility to adapt to changing clinical demands and schedules
• Shifts: Monday-Thursday (8a-5p), Friday (8a-12p)

Schedule: 4-5 days per week

Setting: 100% outpatient

Patient Census: ~20 per day

Full-scope general cardiology

No procedures

Support Staff: RN, MA/clinic supervisor

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
