This contract position requires an on-site presence and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of cardiology while working within a supportive healthcare environment.
As a Locum MD/DO, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions, and collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with cardiovascular diseases
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- Provide patient education on cardiovascular health and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
- Assist in emergency procedures as needed
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of New Hampshire
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Cardiology
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in cardiology
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-5p
Call: 1:3-4 weeknight rotation and 1 weekend per month
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Daily Volume: 14-16 patients
Will read echocardiograms & ECGs
Ability to perform TEEs and cardioversions is required
Support Staff: APPs & RNs
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
