 This contract position is on-site, offering a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative medical practice environment.

As a Locum Cardiology physician, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our practice

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients with cardiovascular issues
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical findings
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health and preventive measures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Participate in case discussions and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology
  • Current state medical license
  • Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
  • Level III Trauma

Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a

Duties: General cardiology and STEMI call

Support Staff: APPs on weekday mornings

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
