This contract, on-site position offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes in critical situations.
As a physician in critical care, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients in critical conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to devise and implement effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients
- Conduct patient evaluations and assessments in critical settings
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as necessary
- Ensure compliance with medical and ethical standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families about care options
- Participate in code blue and other emergency response procedures
- Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care
- Strong knowledge of critical care practices and procedures
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work well in high-pressure environments
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards
Schedule: 7a-7p
Call: 7p-7a
Daily Volume: 13-18 patients
Required Procedures: Airway management, central and arterial lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, etc.
Support Staff: APP
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
