This on-site role will allow you to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive medical practice environment.
As a Locum MD, DO, or CRNA, you will join a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional healthcare services. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing patient outcomes while addressing the diverse needs of the community
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical assessments and develop effective treatment plans
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure a safe and efficient care environment
- Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-ups
- Stay current on medical protocols and best practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to relevant regulations
- Educate patients and families about procedures and postoperative care
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
Requirements
- Valid medical degree (MD or DO) or CRNA certification
- Current licensure to practice in the state of New Mexico
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
Schedule: 40 hours per week, no weekends
Daily Volume: ~3 cases
Patient Population: All ages and degrees of disability, including trauma
Cases: Bread and butter OB/GYN, pediatric dental, ENT, and orthopedics
Duties: General anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and epidurals
No supervision required
Must be board-certified
