As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be pivotal in delivering high-quality medical care and managing a diverse range of emergency cases. Your role will directly contribute to the well-being of the community, ensuring timely and effective treatment in critical situations. 

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute medical conditions
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Perform medical procedures as necessary to stabilize patients
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in emergency response drills and training
• Stay current with best practices in emergency medicine
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Experience in emergency medicine, preferably in a clinical setting
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
