As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a critical role in managing acute medical situations, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute medical conditions
• Perform emergency procedures as necessary
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other medical professionals
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Provide patient education and support
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
• Experience in emergency medicine or related field
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• ACLS and BLS certifications required

Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a

Annual Volume: 48k at one location, 90k at other location

Facility: Combo urgent cares/free-standing ERs

Support Staff: APPs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
