Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in need
  • Perform life-saving procedures and stabilize patients
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure continuity of care
  • Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
  • Participate in case reviews and quality improvement initiatives
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in emergency medicine
  • Assist in training and mentoring medical staff
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred
  • Valid medical license to practice in Washington state
  • Proven experience in emergency medical settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
  • Availability for on-site work during the contract period

Schedule: 6p-3a, 10p-7a, or 7a-4p

Daily Volume: 8-14 patients

Duties: Evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients

Case Types: Mostly medical, low trauma, medium to high acuity

Support Staff: RNs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Additional Required Certifications: ACLS, NRP, PALS, BLS and DEA

Paid travel & expenses
