Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients
• Evaluate and treat medical emergencies in a timely manner
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs
• Monitor and manage patient flow within the emergency department
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification in Emergency Medicine
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Previous experience in an emergency medicine setting
• Strong clinical skills and sound judgment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities

Schedule: 24-hour shifts

Call required

Daily Volume: 25-30 patients

Annual Volume: ~9,800 patients

Manages high-acuity patients, including life flights

Support Staff: Hospitalist

Must be board-certified 

Paid travel and expenses
