As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical assistance during emergencies, working alongside experienced healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients
- Assess and manage patients experiencing acute medical conditions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Perform necessary diagnostic procedures and treatments
- Adhere to medical policies and protocols to ensure patient safety
- Document patient interactions and medical histories accurately
- Provide instruction and guidance to support staff as needed
- Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred
- State medical licensure in Kentucky
- Experience working in emergency settings
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care

Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Shift Information: 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 12p-12a, 7p-7a, 9p-9a
