Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology consultations and treatment plans
• Perform endoscopic procedures and interpret diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Document patient interactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options and preventative care
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in gastroenterology
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
• Adhere to all medical protocols and regulations

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
• Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in gastroenterology
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Current state medical license to practice in Augusta
• Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certifications

Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 7a-7p, specific dates

No call required

Daily Volume: 20-30 patients, 3-7 procedures Monday-Thursday

Cases: Procedures, rounding, and consults

Must be able to do ERCP

APP support

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
